On Wednesday, May 4, John Rosenthal, co-founder of the Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (P.A.A.R.I.) was a guest speaker at the Washington Post’s series on the country’s opioid crisis.
The event was part of Coffee@WaPo and included Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, White House drug czar Michael Botticelli, health care experts and those on the front lines of addiction — who gathered to speak on the causes and consequences of the opioid epidemic, along with proposing solutions for prevention and treatment.
