In 2023, PAARI established the Lived Experience Council to provide a platform for individuals deeply impacted by the opioid epidemic who may not otherwise have a voice in decision-making. Led by board member Stephen Jesi, who lost his daughter to substance use disorder in 2015, the Council is integrated into PAARI’s leadership and decision-making processes. Its purpose is to ensure that those closest to the issue have an opportunity to shape solutions. The Council meets monthly to offer insights and feedback on ongoing (PAARI and opioid-related) projects.
Join us for the Lived Experience Council meeting on the second Tuesday of every month. We believe those closest to a problem sometimes have the best solutions. If you are interested in applying to join the council, click on the link below and register for our next meeting.
