*Media Advisory* P.A.A.R.I. to Host Community Resource Night

GLOUCESTER — John Rosenthal, Chairman of the Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (P.A.A.R.I.), and Executive Director Allie Hunter McDade are pleased to announce that P.A.A.R.I. will host a Community Resource Night next month for those struggling and affected by the disease of addiction.

WHEN

Thursday, Dec. 8 from 6-8 p.m.

WHERE

The P.A.A.R.I. Office, 186 Main St., Suite 25 A, Gloucester

WHAT

P.A.A.R.I., in conjunction with the Gloucester Police Department, will hold a Community Resource Night for people to gather in a safe and welcoming space to learn about the options available to them, family or loved ones for recovery and support services.

Attendees will also be able to receive a free nasal Naloxone kit and training from organizers.

“Those suffering from a substance use disorder may feel overwhelmed when it comes to determining their path to recovery,” Rosenthal said. “We want this process to be as easy and seamless as possible. We encourage all community members affected by the disease of addiction to come to this event to learn more about the resources available to them.”
