Lt. Sarko Gergerian, MS, MHC, CARC is a lieutenant with the Winthrop Police Department embedded within the Winthrop Public Health Department as a distinguished member of The Winthrop Public Safety and Health Department. He holds a pivotal role as the outreach, peer support, and health & fitness officer, where he has served for over fourteen years. He is an international speaker, lecturer, published author, and researcher who has dedicated his life to finding and connecting with people on a heart level to prevent arrest and death. Lieutenant Gergerian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Philosophy & Religion with a minor in Psychology from Northeastern University. Building upon his foundational knowledge, he pursued further academic excellence and
obtained a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling and Psychological Services from Salem State University. He recently completed additional training in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute where he
obtained a Master of Arts with specializations in Jungian and Archetypal Psychology. In addition to his responsibilities within law enforcement, Lieutenant Gergerian practices psychotherapy with adults during his evenings and weekends.
