A proud graduate of Loma Linda University with a Masters in Social Work, Rachel’s journey is characterized by a deep commitment to improving the well-being of individuals in crisis. Rachel’s diverse professional background reflects her versatile expertise in social work. Before joining the Cape Girardeau Police Department as a mental health first responder, she served as a dialysis social worker, demonstrating her ability to navigate the complexities of healthcare and provide support to individuals undergoing challenging medical treatments.
As a mental health case worker, Rachel honed her skills in addressing a wide spectrum of mental health needs, showcasing her adaptability and commitment to holistic care. Her experience as a child welfare worker further attests to her dedication to the welfare of vulnerable populations, emphasizing the importance of early intervention and support for children and families.
