Dr. Samet is Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine, Professor of Community Health Sciences at the Boston University School of Public Health and Chief of General Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center (BMC). He has been a Primary Care physician at BMC since 1989 and served as Medical Director of Addiction Services in the Boston Public Health Commission 1995-2012. Areas of research include the coordination of addiction treatment and primary care.
