MIDDLESEX COUNTY — The Police Chiefs of Acton, Bedford, Concord, Carlisle, Lincoln, Lexington, Stow, Maynard and Hanscom Air Force Base, which make up the Central Middlesex Police Partnership (CMPP), are pleased to announce that their police departments have received their second AmeriCorps grant from the Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (P.A.A.R.I) to bring on a part-time recovery coach to increase the group’s addiction and recovery efforts.
Recovery Coach Jackie Tayabji, Program Coordinator Margie Taylor, Chief Kent, Capt. Greg Skehan and Officer Robert Aloisi were presented with the P.A.A.R.I AmeriCorps Excellence Award yesterday at the graduation ceremony for the first group of AmeriCorps members embedded with eastern Massachusetts police departments to support their opioid recovery efforts.

The Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (P.A.A.R.I) will host a graduation ceremony for its first class of AmeriCorps members.
P.A.A.R.I has been selected for a $100,000 grant from the Cummings Foundation to work with the Woburn, Wilmington, and Burlington Police Departments to create a regional effort to address the opioid epidemic.
