P.A.A.R.I. Receives Cummings Foundation Grant to Expand Work With Partner Police Departments

P.A.A.R.I has been selected for a $100,000 grant from the Cummings Foundation to work with the Woburn, Wilmington, and Burlington Police Departments to create a regional effort to address the opioid epidemic.

Over 200 Law Enforcement Leaders Urge Trump Administration Not to Cut Drug Control Program Funding

The Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (P.A.A.R.I.) sent a letter to White House Adviser Kellyanne Conway urging the Trump administration not to cut the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy’s budget.

Boston Metro Reports on Success of Gloucester ANGEL Program

The Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (P.A.A.R.I.) and Gloucester ANGEL Initiative were recently featured in Boston Metro after the program was recently reviewed by the New England Journal of Medicine. The study, spearheaded by researchers from Boston Medical Center and Boston University School of Public Health, concluded that police-led placement programs greatly outweighed other methods of addiction treatment and placement.
