P.A.A.R.I. Members Travel to Michigan to Meet with Leaders on Expanding Addiction Recovery Services

GLOUCESTER — Allie Hunter McDade, Executive Director of the Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (P.A.A.R.I.), is pleased to announce that P.A.A.R.I. Chairman John Rosenthal and Dixon, Ill. Police Chief Danny Langloss traveled to Michigan yesterday to meet with State Police, who joined P.A.A.R.I. earlier this year. In addition, they met with members of the state’s Families Against Narcotics (FAN), who will be implementing “Hope Not Handcuffs” in Macomb County.

Executive Director Allie Hunter McDade are pleased to announce that Tito Rodriguez has been hired to step into the role of Care Advocate and Outreach Specialist. Rodriguez will assist P.A.A.R.I. and its police department partners with creating and expanding recovery programs for Gloucester Angel Initiative participants and others struggling with the disease of addiction to achieve a life in long-term recovery.

Arlington Police Chief Frederick Ryan Travels to Arizona to Speak about Opioid Epidemic, P.A.A.R.I. Programs

PHOENIX — John Rosenthal, chairman of the Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (P.A.A.R.I.), is pleased to announce that Arlington Police Chief Frederick Ryan and P.A.A.R.I. Executive Director Allie Hunter McDade traveled to Arizona yesterday to speak about P.A.A.R.I., to attend the signing of an executive order that places a limit on first-time drug prescriptions, and to assist the Phoenix Police Department as it implements its own addiction recovery initiative.

P.A.A.R.I. Announces Formation of Police Council to Guide Organization’s Growth and Mission

GLOUCESTER — John Rosenthal, chairman of the Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative is pleased to announce the formation of the P.A.A.R.I. Police Council, a group of working police chiefs and law enforcement leaders from around the country who will advise and guide the organization as it continues to grow and develop.
